WW - Gallet Commander chronograph, manual wind, 30mm x 37mm to lug tips, 14mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with rounded rectangular pushers, engraved presentation on case back which matches included card, vintage black leather strap, original silvered dial with radium painted Arabic numerals and a snail style tachymeter scale around center, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J, highly unusual shaped chronograph movement, s#789633, triple signed. Includes the original wooden presentation box as well as a card with detailed instructions on how to use the watch as well as where to take it in case of repair.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork; excellent-plus dial with hardly any surface spotting, missing inner bezel scale; excellent blued steel sword hands with light oxide; unpolished case shows very light wear, several light dings on the backs of the lugs; crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal. Box shows little wear.
